A Turning Point for Families

How You Can Help

YWCA Saskatoon serves thousands of women and families every year. With your support, we are giving help and hope to combat poverty, homelessness, and violence right here in our community.

Our doors are always open, and we rely greatly on donations to continue to serve our community. Our greatest need is financial support for the essential services we provide. Thank you for your ongoing support.

“It’s just what you do: you help people. This is the lesson I learned very young when I was growing up. When you give to the YWCA, you you are giving hope to women and families right here in Saskatoon, who depend on our nurturing YWCA programs. ”

– Shannon Friesen , Executive Director

Please join our community in supporting the YWCA Adopt a Room charitable program.

Last year’s Adopt a Room program made an extended impact during the holidays and well into the new year–it made a difference for many women and families who turned to the YWCA when they were experiencing hardship.

This year’s Adopt a Room charitable program will accomplish a great deal: providing safe haven for women and families in crisis, counselling, supports for women entering the trades, early learning programs for children, and accessible health and wellness programs. Designated gifts are welcome.

Join with your trusted radio partner, 98COOL, help us meet our fundraising goal for the YWCA, and experience the feeling of giving a holiday gift that really counts!

Our goal is to find 20 generous businesses or individuals to make a pledge to “Adopt a Room” this Christmas with a $2,000 pledge to “Adopt a room” in support of amazing programs happening inside every room at the YWCA.

Find out more about ways to Adopt a Room.

Please contact Joy-Ann Allin at 306-244-7034 ext 132 or jallin@ywcasaskatoon.com to make your pledge or find out more information about Adopting a Room!

Planned Giving and Bequests

YWCA Saskatoon has been there—and will be there in the future—for generations of women. Planned giving is a commitment to the future and a way to ensure your support continues beyond an annual contribution. By remembering YWCA Saskatoon in your will, you can plan for a legacy gift that will touch many lives and help us build a community where everyone can thrive.

You are encouraged to discuss this with your family and financial advisor, and to notify us about your planned gift by phoning Joy-Ann Allin, Director of Development and Communications, at (306) 244-7034 ext. 122.
